About Us
2 Bici Bike Shop
Serving Willow Springs and the Palos Trail System
2 Bici is a full-service bicycle shop located in Willow Springs, Illinois — at the doorstep of the Palos Forest Preserve trail system. Here, we specialize in professional bike repair, performance tune-ups, rentals, and carefully selected bikes and components for riders who care about how their machine feels.
We’re not a volume shop. Instead, we’re a service shop.
Our approach is simple: fix it right, build it correctly, and most importantly, make sure it rides better than when it came in.
Whether you’re riding Palos singletrack, cruising the I&M Canal Trail, or gearing up for your first bike packing adventure, we treat every bike with the same attention to detail. In other words, every repair matters. From hand-built wheels to suspension service and complete drivetrain overhauls, our work reflects decades of experience and a deep respect for the craft.
Why Riders Choose 2 Bici
Because details matter, riders come to us for:
Precision mechanical work
Honest, experience-based recommendations
A no-pressure sales environment
Deep knowledge of local trails
Seasonal service planning
Real-world riding experience
We believe a bike shop shouldn’t be transactional. Rather, it should be a relationship.
That’s why, when you bring your bike to us, we want to understand how and where you ride. Ultimately, that’s how you get better performance, longer-lasting components, and service that actually makes a difference.
Located in Willow Springs, IL
You’ll find us at 8695 Archer Ave, just minutes from Palos Forest Preserve. Because of our proximity to the trails, we understand what local riders need and how their bikes are used.
Whether you need a spring tune-up, a trail-ready rental, or a custom build consultation, we’re here to help.
Ari - Service Manager
Ari brings over three decades of deep mechanical experience and gravel-road grit to 2 Bici Bike Shop. As the longtime president of the Slender Fungus Cycling Association and a true rider-mechanic, Ari is as comfortable wrenching on a seized seatpost as he is grinding through a 100-mile gravel ride.
He’s built over 1,000 wheels by hand, restored countless vintage frames, and logged thousands of miles across Illinois and beyond. His workshop skills are rooted in tradition—favoring precision, patience, and practical knowledge gained from real-world riding.
On Instagram (@bikerustcycles), you’ll find Ari documenting his day-to-day with refreshing honesty: fixing old Townies, pulling rusted parts, chasing baby turtles along the canal trail, and reflecting on the history and future of gravel cycling. Whether he’s removing a frozen bolt or talking shop with customers, Ari brings authenticity and care to every job.
At 2 Bici, Ari leads our service area with a deep respect for the bike and the rider. If you’ve got a story behind your ride—or want to build one from scratch—he’s the mechanic to make it happen.

40+ years of experience. Most shops don't have forty years of mechanical experience in their entire service department. We have 2 mechanics with over 40 years of experience, each! We also have a hardy supply Metamucil, Ben Gay and Ibuprofin on hand. Let's face it, they're great mechanics, but old.
